Instructions
Place chicken with skin on in an 8 quart cooking pot
Add water to the pot
Add celery, carrots, onion, cabbage, and sage to pot
Add black pepper, onion powder, celery salt, chicken bouillon, parsley, and salt. Mix well
Turn heat on to medium/high until boiling. Reduce heat to medium/low
Cover, stirring occassionally for 1 hour and 10 minutes
Remove from heat, let stand for 5 minutes
Remove chicken from pot, dispose of the sage leaf
Properly store the chicken and store in the refrigerator immediately, for another meal
Remove vegetables from the pot or leave them in. If you remove them, store them in the refrigerator for another meal.
Properly store the broth in the refrigerator.
Top with pepper and enjoy!
